About the Role
This is a relationship-driven sales role for an experienced technology or industrial sales professional with an established network inside Aramco's upstream, downstream, and digital transformation organizations. In this role, you are the in-Kingdom seller: opening doors, building trust with stakeholders, and converting relationships into commercial opportunities for Avathon's Industrial AI platform while partnership structure, contracting strategy, and executive-level relationship management remain with Avathon leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day sales execution and relationship management with Saudi Aramco and Aramco Digital contacts, serving as the primary in-Kingdom point of contact for account activity.
- Leverage existing relationships with Aramco procurement, digital transformation, IT, and operations contacts to originate and progress new opportunities.
- Build and execute an account penetration plan across Aramco's business lines (upstream, downstream, Aramco Digital, and joint ventures), under the direction of our client's Middle East Strategic Partnerships Lead.
- Support deal execution proposal development, pricing coordination, and contract logistics partnering with Avathon leadership and delivery teams through to signature.
- Represent our client at Kingdom-based industry events (e.g., LEAP, Saudi digital transformation forums) and in stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate closely with Middle East Strategic Partnerships Lead and the regional Account Executive on account planning and pipeline strategy.
- Maintain accurate account and pipeline in Salesforce
Desired Candidate Profile
- Established, verifiable relationships within Saudi Aramco and/or Aramco Digital.
- 5+ years of enterprise technology, industrial software, or SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into Oil & Gas or Energy accounts.
- Existing network among Aramco digital transformation, IT, or procurement decision-makers strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic and English required.
- Demonstrated track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
- Familiarity with IKTVA / local-content requirements and Saudization (Nitaqat) considerations is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the Kingdom as needed.
