About Arengy and the DevOps Engineer Role

Arengy is a specialized engineering and technology consulting company that provides support to clients across the Middle East and Europe. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer - Solution Integration & Operations to join our team as a full-time contractor. This role is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Engagement

The primary purpose of this position is to support existing client teams in the operations (RUN phase) and, when necessary, the delivery (BUILD phase) of client solutions to end customers. The successful candidate will work closely with various client teams, including Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers, the R&D department, and other DelOps members, to ensure successful mission accomplishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II technical support for Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid environments, focusing on ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Design, implement, and optimize system changes while continuously maintaining and improving internal tools and technical documentation.
• Support service delivery and operations, including participation in change management (CAB), ensuring production readiness, providing technical guidance, and monitoring performance.
• Participate in a 24/7 support rotation to address critical operational needs.
• Install, configure, integrate, and deploy solutions on customer infrastructure, encompassing both hardware and VMware environments, and ensure seamless connectivity with customer systems and networks.
• Execute customer acceptance testing, develop comprehensive operational documentation, and collaborate effectively with development and validation teams.
• Ensure successful project delivery by adhering to established processes and best practices.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant DevOps or solution integration role, with a proven track record in supporting complex IT environments and delivering technical solutions.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This contractor role involves working directly within client teams, fostering a collaborative environment with various stakeholders including Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers, and R&D personnel. The position requires adaptability to client operational frameworks and participation in a rotational 24/7 support schedule to maintain continuous service availability.
