About the Role

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Subsea Engineer to join its Marine Operations Division. This full-time position is for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in subsea engineering. The Marine Operations Division is responsible for leading the planning, engineering, and delivery of key subsea tasks to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive subsea services to offshore customers. This includes managing diving and Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations for underwater inspections, repairs, maintenance, and construction. The Subsea Engineer will also provide an advanced level of technical expertise and support in resolving complex technical issues related to subsea operations.

Operational Responsibilities

• Serve as the main interface between diving operations and their customers, facilitating the development of detailed procedures, equipment lists, and other relevant requirements.
• Lead the onshore planning and offshore execution of subsea operations.
• Perform the role of Client Worksite Representative offshore when necessary, ensuring the intervention contractor has correct site information and that the site is safe for use by identifying known hazards.

Technical Leadership and Compliance

• Act as the focal point for all Scope of Work (SOW) reviews, design reviews, and Saudi Aramco engineering compliance.
• Ensure all subsea work is in full compliance with Saudi Aramco’s Marine Operations Manual and internally recognized Marine Guidance Documents.
• Provide technical input to any development projects, supplying functional guidance to engineering contractors on discipline-specific matters to ensure quality of work meets Aramco standards, within a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Act as Saudi Aramco's technical point of contact for all subsea project contracts.
• Provide technical input for any decommissioning or new projects when necessary.

Required Experience and Expertise

Candidates for this position must possess 5-10 years of professional experience in subsea engineering. The role requires an advanced level of technical expertise and proven ability to support and resolve complex technical issues related to subsea operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role within Saudi Aramco's Marine Operations Division, contributing to the safety and efficiency of offshore vessel operations. The position involves both onshore planning and offshore execution responsibilities.
