Our client is a leading international consultancy and currently seeking an Infrastructure Director to lead the delivery of infrastructure works on a high-profile, confidential development in Riyadh.
Acting as the client representative, the successful candidate will oversee the management of the lead design consultant and ensure the successful progression of the infrastructure package from concept design through construction documentation.
This is a site-based role requiring full-time presence in the client's Riyadh office.
Key Responsibilities• Act as the client's representative for all infrastructure-related aspects of the project.• Manage and oversee the lead design consultant responsible for project delivery.• Direct infrastructure design development from post-master planning stages through detaileddesign and construction documentation.• Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary infrastructure packages, including:o Roads and highwayso Tunnelso Utilities networkso Utility plants and supporting infrastructure• Review technical deliverables and ensure alignment with client objectives.• Lead consultant management, performance monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.• Provide strategic and technical leadership across all infrastructure disciplines.• Interface with senior client stakeholders and project leadership teams.
Essential Experience• Significant experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.• Strong background managing infrastructure design after the master-planning phase.• Experience overseeing projects through:o Concept Designo Schematic Designo Detailed Designo Construction Documentation• Proven track record working as a client-side representative or in a consultancy role withsubstantial client-facing responsibilities.• Experience managing external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
Technical Background The ideal candidate will have a broad infrastructure background rather than being a specialist in a single discipline.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes• Experience on major projects within the Middle East / MENA region.• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.• Executive presence and ability to engage with senior-level clients.• Commercial awareness and strategic project leadership capabilities.• Experience on complex, prestigious, or luxury developments would be advantageous.• Candidates may be: Based in the Middle East, or Based internationally with substantial Middle East project experience.
Location & Working Arrangement• Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia• Work Pattern: Full-time office-based (5 days per week)• Remote/FIFO: Not permitted
Contract Details• Initial 18-month contract linked to the project.• Potential for extension depending on project requirements and performance.• Possibility of future opportunities within the business, although the primary commitment isproject-specific.
