Roles & Responsibilities

Design Engineers for EHV Transformers & Reactors

We are seeking to recruit highly qualified Design Engineers with extensive experience in the design of Extra High Voltage (EHV) power transformers and shunt reactors.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in the design of power transformers and shunt reactors.

• Hands-on experience in the design of:

o Power transformers up to 500 MVA, 400 kV.

o Shunt reactors up to 200 MVAR, 400 kV.

• Proven expertise in electrical or mechanical design of EHV transformers and reactors.

• Strong knowledge of international standards and design practices, including IEC and IEEE standards.

Technical Competencies

• Ability to perform transformer/reactor design calculations and optimization.

• Experience with electromagnetic, thermal, dielectric, and mechanical design.

• Familiarity with design software and engineering tools used for transformer and reactor design.

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, testing requirements, and design-for-manufacturing principles.

Professional Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
