Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues in air-cooled chiller systems, including refrigeration circuits, electrical controls, and mechanical components.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, meticulously inspecting and servicing compressors, fans, condensers, and control panels to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to accurately identify system faults and guide repair procedures.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment, such as multimeters, refrigerant leak detectors, and vibration analyzers, to pinpoint system malfunctions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in HVAC or a related technical field is highly preferred.
  • Holds EPA Section 608 Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
  • Has at least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically with air-cooled chiller systems.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical theory, and mechanical principles.
