Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
Specialist Board qualification in Anesthesia or equivalent - American Board / FRCPC Canada / CCT UK / Facharzt Germany / FANZCA Australia or NZ
Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in Anesthesia - depending on classification requirements of the SCFHS
Valid license to practice from country of origin
Must qualify for Consultant Anesthesia classification with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Priority given to candidates who already hold valid SCFHS license as Consultant Anesthesia
Life Support certification course
Must be conversant with epidural techniques and difficult airway management, capable of instituting post-operative pain relief and also able to manage unaided lists in General Surgery and its subspecialties, ORL & H&NS, Ophthalmology, Urology, Orthopedics, Dental and OB/Gynae.
