Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs, concepts, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
• Prepare and present design proposals, 3D models, and renderings to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, interior designers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards
• Produce construction documents, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD/BIM software
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and monitor construction progress
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget
• Incorporate sustainable design principles and green building standards where applicable
• Respond to client feedback and revise designs accordingly

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
• 2–5 years of professional experience in architectural design (entry or mid-level depending on role)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar design tools
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for presentation work
• Solid understanding of structural systems, building materials, and construction methods
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulatory requirements
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional licensure or progress toward licensure (e.g., ARE in the US, ARB in the UK)
• Experience with LEED, BREEAM, or other sustainability certification programs
• Exposure to urban design or landscape integration projects
• BIM coordination experience on large-scale projects
