Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure that all tools are properly identified and marked, stored in accordance with the COC of the tool.
• Perform material requests for any spare part or other items for local repair, maintenance, and sending for repair or other needs.
• Repair actions after damage report.
• Maintain records of issued tools and monitor the tool crib inventory.
• Maintain receipts, records and withdrawals.
• Check and maintain tools located in warehouse in proper working conditions.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping purposes.
• Coordinate freight handling, equipment moving and minor repairs.
• Arrange and identify items for calibration.
• Properly follow up calibration and repairs.
• Keep records to maintain inventory control, cost containment and ensure proper stock levels.
• Operate simple office machines such as computer-assisted inventory systems.
• Store, handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material and waste according to environmental standards.
• Ensure GSE maintenance/defect repairs are properly carried out.
• Prioritize and execute all maintenance related tasks of ASL in accordance with GSE maintenance requirements.
• Ensure maintenance/repairs/calibration are according to procedures or manufacturers' recommendations to ensure reliable/optimum serviceability of GSE/Vehicles at all times.
• Report any deviation to Supervisor/Manager GSE for further actions.
• Inspect all GSE tools as per maintenance schedule check sheet, identify potential failures and highlight to GSE manager for corrective actions.
• Carry out mandatory safety checks of GSE tool equipment and share findings with GSE supervisor/manager.
• Record findings correctly after completing the repairs in the work orders.
• Organize inspection with the GSE supervisor prior to release of GSE tool equipment to ensure the job is done correctly and completely.
• Keep updates of maintenance records.

• Knowledge of principles of electricity, electronics, general mechanics, heating, refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs
• Knowledge and use of automated maintenance systems and continuous info data updates
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams and schematics
• Attention to detail, initiative and commitment to achieve
• Communication skills

• Ability to use computer (MS Excel/Word, Maximo Software)
• Ability to create reports
• Knowledge of Safety
