INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Project & Service Engineer (I&C) to join our dynamic Automation team. This role is pivotal in delivering advanced industrial automation and control solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing.
At INTECH, you will contribute to complex automation projects involving PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, FGS, OSI PI Systems, and Wellhead Automation solutions. You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and design to commissioning, troubleshooting, startup, and final handover.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver
- Execute and supervise site activities including installation, commissioning, startup, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for industrial automation systems.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare technical assessments as per project requirements.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities for PLC/SCADA-based systems.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and stakeholders.
- Attend emergency and on-call troubleshooting activities at customer sites.
- Carry out commissioning and startup activities for N2 and Air Dryer Packages.
- Support OSI PI System integration and related activities.
- Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams during project execution.
- Maintain service documentation including timesheets, service reports, FAT/SAT reports, and technical records.
- Participate in control system engineering activities including specification development, PLC/SCADA code implementation, testing, and commissioning.
- Perform hardware design and implementation for specialized control systems including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
- Carry out system staging, internal testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Interpret customer specifications including FRS, P&IDs, Cause & Effect diagrams, narratives, philosophies, and technical drawings.
- Demonstrate understanding of major industrial standards, particularly SABIC and ARAMCO standards.
- Lead project execution activities from Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) to commissioning and final handover.
- Monitor project schedules, technical deliverables, and site progress to ensure successful project completion.
- Support technical clarification meetings with customers and vendors.
- Assist in technical decision-making, risk identification, and issue resolution during project execution.
- Collaborate with technical writing teams to develop and improve project and service documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on automation systems operation and maintenance.
- Mentor and support junior and local Control & Instrumentation engineers.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with company HSE requirements.
