Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for the maintenance of Tornado aircraft components assigned to the bay to ensure sufficient stock levels exist to support RSAF operations and scheduled maintenance activities.
First Stage/Mandatory and Independent certification of completed tasks carried out by the Maintenance Team Technicians when required to do so, including Red-X clearance.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Tornado Maintenance, training and manpower.
Ensuring the highest standards are implemented with regards to tool control and tool management.
Planning shift patterns to ensure manpower is both utilised effectively and is adequately staffed to ensure safety.
Manages the time and attendance of his personnel IAW HR policy.
The management of spare parts required to fulfil maintenance tasks; ensuring the correct parts are demanded, imspected prior to fitment and correct recording action completed.
Ability to tow an aircraft and/or supervise an aircraft towing team.
Job Requirements:
A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.
Part 66 licensed (current or lapsed), or suitable equivalent technical license acceptable to M&CA.
Relevant type training ( Q Course) and equipment specific training if required.
Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) Registration.
Have at least 7 years within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training OR 3 years on same aircraft type.
Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise all levels of maintenance personnel
