Very Smart is hiring a full-time KNX Engineer / Smart Home Systems Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
The role focuses on designing, programming, installing, testing, and commissioning smart home systems for residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on KNX systems.
The ideal candidate must have practical experience with KNX projects, ETS programming, electrical drawings, low-current systems, and site execution.
Responsibilities:- Design and review KNX smart home systems for villas, apartments, and commercial projects- Prepare control points, device lists, wiring requirements, and system architecture- Program KNX systems using ETS software- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site- Coordinate with electricians, contractors, consultants, interior designers, and clients- Integrate lighting control, curtain control, AC/HVAC control, sensors, intercom, access control, and smart scenes- Review project drawings and provide technical recommendations- Prepare technical documentation, handover notes, and system operation guidance- Support after-sales service and technical maintenance when required
Requirements:- Practical experience with KNX systems- Strong knowledge of ETS software- Ability to design and program KNX systems from scratch- Good understanding of electrical wiring and low-current systems- Ability to read electrical and architectural drawings- Experience with lighting control, curtain control, HVAC/AC control, sensors, and automation scenes- Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills- Good communication skills with clients, contractors, and site teams- Ability to work full-time and handle site responsibilities
Preferred:- KNX Partner certification- Experience with GIRA, ABB, Schneider Electric, Jung, HDL, or similar systems- Experience in villas and premium residential projects- Experience in smart home project estimation and BOQ preparation- Based in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate to Medina
