The OCC Liaison Officer serves as the primary communication link between the Operations Control Centre (OCC) and all key stakeholders during the metro project’s Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase. This role is essential for ensuring smooth coordination, efficient information flow, and timely operational support across teams and contractors. The OCC Liaison Officer plays a critical role in managing real-time communication, supporting incident response, and ensuring alignment between OCC operations and field activities. The position requires strong coordination abilities, familiarity with control room operations, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, real-time environments.
Your role
- Act as the primary communication channel between OCC and all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure seamless and efficient exchange of operational information
- Coordinate real-time updates, service adjustments, and operational instructions
- Support OCC in handling incidents, service disruptions, and emergency situations
- Ensure timely dissemination of alerts, operational data, and instructions to field teams
- Maintain structured communication protocols for routine and emergency operations
- Facilitate coordination between OCC, O&M Contractors, and technical teams
- Ensure alignment of operational priorities across all stakeholders
- Monitor information flow to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in operational reporting, coordination meetings, and reviews
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Transport Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in control room operations, preferably in metro/rail systems
- Strong understanding of OCC operations and workflows
- Experience in incident management and real-time operational coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with operational procedures and safety protocols
