Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, optimize, and maintain the group's active ERP ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment between the Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) and SAP Business One (SAP B1) systems.
- Lead cross-functional project teams through complex, multi-site implementation cycles from scoping through post-go-live optimization.
- Bridge the technical and business gaps to customize ERP modules supporting manufacturing (MRP, production scheduling, bill of materials) and contracting (project costing, procurement, equipment tracking).
2. IT Strategy & Governance
- Formulate and implement a long-term IT roadmap aligned with our expanding industrial manufacturing plants and contracting business lines.
- Oversee IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery processes across all sites.
- Supervise the group s IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud integrations, network frameworks, and local factory data centers.
3. Operational Leadership & Vendor Management
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing group IT team across various specialized functions (systems, network engineering, helpdesk, database administration).
- Formulate, justify, and control the group-level annual IT budget (CAPEX and OPEX), optimizing expenditures while maximizing operational ROI.
- Source, negotiate, and manage strategic relationships with external IT vendors, software providers, and implementation consultants.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership or directorial capacity overseeing multi-entity operations.
ERP Mastery: Must have successfully led at least (2-3) full-lifecycle implementations combining Oracle JD Edwards and SAP Business One systems.
Industry Background: Extensive experience working inside the Industrial Manufacturing and Contracting / Construction sectors is mandatory. Understanding of factory automation, supply chain tech, and project cost control is highly valued.
Geographical Experience: A minimum of 5 years of working experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), with deep familiarity with local regulatory requirements, vendor landscapes, and the Saudi business culture.
Language Skills: Excellent command of both Arabic and English (written and verbal) is required to effectively collaborate with group stakeholders, factory managers, and multinational suppliers.
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred): PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL v4, SAP/Oracle Certifications, or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
