Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled QC Piping Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of piping installation, fabrication, and testing activities for industrial and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, verifying compliance with project specifications, and ensuring adherence to applicable international codes and standards. Roles and Responsibilities Perform inspection of piping fabrication, erection, and installation activities. Verify piping materials, dimensions, alignment, and fit-up prior to welding. Conduct visual inspections and monitor welding activities as per approved procedures. Review isometric drawings, P&IDs, and construction specifications. Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing of piping systems. Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes. Monitor non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and review reports. Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and quality documentation. Coordinate with construction, welding, and client inspection teams. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout project execution. Mandatory Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Valid API certification (API 570 preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Piping Inspector in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, and relevant international piping codes. Experience in piping fabrication, erection, and pressure testing. Familiarity with welding procedures, NDT methods, and inspection techniques. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
