Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer – Pipeline to join our Oil & Gas project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, inspection, and maintenance of piping systems in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations. Experience in ARAMCO Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and review piping layouts, isometrics, and piping specifications for Oil & Gas projects.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, civil, and electrical departments.
Ensure piping activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project requirements, and industry standards.
Supervise piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, and commissioning activities at site.
Review material specifications, technical documents, and vendor drawings.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, QA/QC requirements, and company policies.
Prepare engineering reports, method statements, and progress updates.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving piping-related issues during project execution.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants for technical discussions and project deliverables.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in piping engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, and ASTM.
Experience in piping design software and engineering tools is preferred.
Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and GA drawings.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
