Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to promote and sell pipeline pre-commissioning services and industrial services including hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, cleaning, gauging, pigging, drying, nitrogen services, chemical flushing, oil flushing, and related mechanical services. The role combines technical understanding with commercial skills to develop new business, manage client relationships, and support project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in pipeline, oil & gas, power, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.
Promote company services including pipeline cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting and drying, nitrogen purging and leak testing, chemical and lube oil flushing, mechanical completion and commissioning support, and industrial shutdown and maintenance services.
Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, operators, consultants, and project owners.
Technical & Commercial Support
Understand project scopes, specifications, and client technical requirements.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, costing, and quotations.
Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to develop method statements, equipment lists, and manpower plans.
Participate in technical clarifications, negotiations, and contract finalization.
Client Coordination
Attend client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
Act as the main interface between clients and internal project teams during project execution.
Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activities.
Maintain sales pipeline, CRM records, and regular sales reports.
Support tender preparation and prequalification activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
3–8+ years of experience in pipeline services sales or industrial services / oil & gas services sales.
Strong understanding of pipeline construction and pre-commissioning activities.
Technical Knowledge Required
Pipeline pre-commissioning processes and equipment
Hydrotesting and pneumatic testing standards
Pigging, drying, and nitrogen services
Industrial flushing systems (chemical and lube oil)
Basic knowledge of ASME, API, and project specifications
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Proposal and costing preparation
Client relationship management
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel to project sites
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience in GCC market (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, etc.)
Existing client network with EPC contractors and oil companies (Aramco, ADNOC, etc.)
Knowledge of tendering platforms and vendor registration processes
Valid driving license
