Architectural Inspector – Talent Pool
Supporting water, roads, and utilities projects across the Middle East, ensuring compliance with architectural design intent, specifications, and quality standards. Conducts site inspections of finishes, façade works, and interior elements to verify workmanship, materials, and adherence to approved drawings and project requirements. Coordinates with contractors and project teams to resolve site issues, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant architectural delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor activities to assure that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.
- Conduct regular surveillance of site work against documented processes.
- Review work pack documentation and validate test data as meeting specified requirements and/or within tolerance.
- Ensure incorporated materials on projects comply with the plans and specifications.
- Attend as the company nominated representative for discipline witness and monitor intervention points on site construction ITPs.
- Produce formal reports of inspections carried out on site.
- Monitor contractor works and provide data, reports, and inputs to management as required.
- Liaise with company and contractor quality personnel to ensure requirements for client representation at hold, witness, and test points are understood.
- Provide quality representation at toolbox talks and promote a right first time approach.
- Stay informed of relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures and ensure continued compliance while employed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Minimum 8 years of work experience on large-scale projects; supervision consultant or main contractor experience is essential.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in email, Excel, and Word to compile, produce, monitor, and interpret operational data and reports.
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise effectively, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to operational requirements to meet business objectives.
- Show a flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
- Experience working internationally, preferably in the GCC region.
