Talent pool – airport project controls engineer roles for Middle East projects
Focus on supporting planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and progress reporting for complex aviation developments. Candidates assist in monitoring project performance, analyzing variances, and maintaining project control systems to ensure alignment with budget and timelines. Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule and budget.
- Identify and analyze project dependencies and critical paths.
- Develop and maintain risk management plans and mitigation strategies.
- Update and revise the project schedule and budget as needed.
- Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and budget.
- Identify and analyze variances from the baseline.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address variances.
- Track and manage project risks.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including earned value reports, schedule variance reports, and cost performance reports.
- Maintain project records and ensure compliance with project documentation requirements.
- Inform themselves of the relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures within the company and ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in project controls (cost and schedule).
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience of directing cost engineering, cost estimating, control and analysis, planning and scheduling, schedule development, control, and analysis.
- Experience and demonstrated skill in establishing criteria and system set-up for all project controls activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working internationally, with preference for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) experience.
