Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules using project management software, while closely monitoring progress to identify potential delays or areas of concern. Works collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align schedules with overall project objectives and to develop effective mitigation strategies for identified risks. Provides regular status updates to project teams and management, supported by data analysis to identify trends and improve overall project performance. Manages schedule change requests, ensuring all updates are accurately documented and communicated. Actively participates in project meetings, offering input on scheduling and control matters, and supports the development of project budgets and resource plans. Continuously seeks opportunities for process improvement by implementing best practices, while ensuring full compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies and procedures. Carries out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.


  • Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
  • Monitor project progress and identify areas of concern or potential delays.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop mitigation plans for identified risks.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to project teams and management.
  • Review and analyze project data to identify trends and improve project performance.
  • Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to develop project schedules and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Manage schedule change requests and ensure that changes are properly documented and communicated.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling and control matters.
  • Support project managers in the development of project budgets and resource plans.
  • Is informed of the relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals, and procedures in place within the company, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in accounting or engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in related field on national or international major initiatives and developments.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in project scheduling control.
  • Extensive experience in managing and prioritizing project schedules.
  • Ability to present schedule plans and requirements to senior management and other government authorities.
  • Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders to secure schedule for projects.
  • Capable to fluently communicate in Arabic and English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
