The TCC Liaison Officer plays a critical role in ensuring effective coordination between the Transportation Control Centre (TCC) and operational teams during the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase of a metro system. This role supports smooth traffic management, efficient incident handling, and seamless communication across all stakeholders. The TCC Liaison Officer contributes to real-time operational decision-making, ensures timely information flow, and helps maintain service reliability and safety standards. The position requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work in high-pressure environments, and experience in metro or transportation systems.
Your role
- Facilitate coordination between the Transportation Control Centre (TCC) and operational teams
- Ensure efficient traffic management and operational continuity across the metro network
- Act as the primary liaison during incident response and service disruptions
- Ensure timely communication, escalation, and resolution of operational issues
- Support TCC in real-time monitoring and operational decision-making
- Coordinate dispatch activities and ensure alignment with field teams
- Maintain accurate and timely information flow between TCC and on-ground personnel
- Assist in development and implementation of incident management protocols
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
- Collaborate with O&M Contractors, technical teams, and Employer representatives
- Support operational reviews, reporting, and performance assessments
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Traffic Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation or metro/rail operations
- Strong understanding of transportation management systems and control room operations
- Experience in incident management and operational coordination
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, real-time environments
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with operational procedures and safety standards
