Roles & Responsibilities
Location: Located north of Jeddah on Saudi Arabia s Red Sea coast, Yanbu is known for its majestic beaches and enchanting offshore islands, with Al-Nawras Island considered one of the Kingdom s coastal gems. The destination is served by Prince Abdul Mohsin Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (YNB), located approximately 25 km away, offering regular domestic flights connecting Yanbu with major cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, ensuring convenient access while retaining a tranquil seaside setting.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Monitor swimming areas continuously to ensure the safety of guests and prevent accidents.
- Enforce water safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and rescue situations.
- Provide first aid and CPR until professional medical assistance arrives.
- Communicate safety guidelines clearly to guests when necessary.
- Conduct routine safety checks of pools and surrounding areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all aquatic facilities.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues to the line manager.
- Assist in conducting water rescue drills and emergency training sessions.
- Follow all departmental policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Previous experience working as a lifeguard.
- Written and verbal English and Arabic proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Physical and mental stamina to respond to emergencies and maintain pool safety.
- Basic first aid techniques and procedures knowledge.
- Understand cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) protocols.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
