Roles & Responsibilities
Terminations: Perform glanding and termination for HV/LV cables; apply stress control for high-voltage kits.
Jointing: Execute straight-through and branch joints (Heat-shrink/Resin) for power cables.
Panel Work: Wire, dress, and label (ferrule) distribution boards, control panels, and switchgear.
Installation: Route and pull cables; install busbars, trunking, and DIN rail components.
Testing: Conduct Megger, continuity, and polarity tests to ensure system safety and compliance.
Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years in industrial electrical installation or panel building.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read single-line diagrams (SLDs) and schematics.
- Safety: Mastery of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and HV safety protocols.
- Certification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering; HV Jointing certification is a plus.
