Role specific responsibilities
Report directly to the Warehouse Leads.
Carry out all tasks physically and accurately.
Keep the warehouse area safe, clean, tidy and orderly.
Check and inspect stock items for wear or damage, and reports any discrepancies to the warehouse leads.
Adhere to and apply the 5s, SOP, and Lean objectives.
Support ethical and professional compliance of all company policies and procedures.
May be asked to use the company van to transport parts, materials and finished goods to and from third parties.
Tasks include:
Receive, check and move materials to the requested location
Mark all materials with identifying information (stickers/labels)
Independently print stickers and labels for marking purposes
Using (electric) tools to get materials in/out of crates
Pick and pack outgoing materials, considering weights and measures
Receive and put back on shelves any return shipment of rental projects
Load, unload and move materials using forklift, reach truck and/or overhead crane
Sort and place goods on racks, shelves or in boxes according to a predetermined order, such as material number and/or size, type, colour, etc.
Perform “cycle counts”.
All other common and relevant warehouse related tasks.
Desired Candidate Profile
Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) or higher.
2-3 years Warehouse experience with forklift certification.
Clerical skills in order processing and data retrieval using our software system SAP.
Teamwork, initiative, and self-motivation skills.
Capable of lifting 0 – 25 kg regularly using personal protective equipment as required by OSHA / Company policy.
Good work ethics, understand and promote the need for efficiency.
Understand and promote the need for continual improvement.
