Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of pressure vessels, boilers, and related equipment, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and standards.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and welding procedures to verify conformity and identify potential issues.
  • Witness and verify welding procedures and welder qualifications, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to code requirements.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive examinations (NDE) on materials and welds, using various inspection methods.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Holds a valid ASME Inspector certification (e.g., API 510, API or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in pressure vessel or boiler inspection within the oil and gas or manufacturing industry.
  • Exhibits strong knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes (BPVC) and related standards.
