Roles & Responsibilities

Key Activities

Infrastructure Management

• Monitor and maintain the organization's infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud services, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance infrastructure and software applications.
• Assess technical situation, using technical knowledge and expertise, and arranging work to be carried out in order to provide a cost effective, acceptable and practical solution
• Carry out both scheduled and unscheduled PMI S and practical solutions within area of expertise ensuring that all technical requirements are met

Process improvement and Compliance

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in infrastructure operations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in infrastructure management.
• Comply with all relevant SQE procedures and controls to ensure employee health and safety, regulatory compliance, delivery of high-quality service and environmentally friendly behaviors

Reporting and documentation

• Report to the Supervisor for all relevant maintenance or repair work information to ensure that they are kept up to date
• Prepare periodic and yearly reports on the achievements and challenges related to the infrastructure and submit them to the Supervisor

Collaboration and Support

• Work closely with other MED teams and departments to provide technical support and assist in project implementation.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their infrastructure needs.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot issues and coordinate maintenance activities.

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Desired Candidate Profile

Role Purpose:

To handle and maintain the organization s infrastructure to ensure its reliability, security, and efficiency. This role involves supporting daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to optimize the performance of hardware, software, and network resources within the set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a related field

Education and Certifications:

• A Technical diploma in a related role is required.
• Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications Cisco (CCNA) or equivalent networking certifications is preferred.
• Proficient in using monitoring tools and systems administration software
