Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage and control inventory operations for automotive spare parts, consumables, accessories, and vehicle stock.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability across branches and service centers.
  • Develop inventory planning strategies based on demand forecasting, sales trends, and workshop requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/DMS systems.
  • Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
  • Reduce inventory discrepancies, dead stock, slow-moving items, and stock losses.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and aftersales departments for efficient stock movement.
  • Analyze inventory KPIs including stock turnover, fill rate, aging stock, and inventory valuation.
  • Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and international automotive standards.
  • Supervise warehouse teams and inventory staff across multiple locations.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports and management dashboards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and OEM principals regarding parts availability and replenishment.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of automotive spare parts.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory efficiency and operational costs.
  • Support branch operations and workshop requirements with timely inventory availability.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Additional certification in Inventory Management / Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 10 years of experience in automotive inventory or warehouse management.
  • Experience in automobile dealerships or automotive distribution companies is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts operations and inventory systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Autoline, or similar DMS platforms.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • GCC experience will be an added advantage.
