Alomar Holding Company is a leading Saudi Arabia–based diversified investment holding group specializing in real estate development and integrated asset management solutions.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a General Accountant to join our Riyadh team and contribute to the financial operations of our project-driven business.
This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting project accounting, and maintaining compliance with local regulations.
The General Accountant will work closely with procurement, project, and finance teams to deliver reliable accounting services and support business objectives.
Key responsibilities include: Handle day-to-day accounting activities and record financial transactions Manage daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records Review supplier and subcontractor invoices and payment requests Prepare bank and account reconciliations Support monthly closing and financial reporting processes Record and track project-related costs, including basic cost allocation by project Follow up on invoices, payments, and supporting documents Assist with VAT filing and compliance activities Coordinate with procurement, projects, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations Maintain organized accounting files and documentation Statutory health insurance coverage Pension scheme in accordance with Saudi regulations Paid annual leave and public holidays Professional development and training opportunities On-site work environment in Riyadh Supportive team culture and collaborative workplace Required Qualifications: Saudi national Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in contracting, construction, real estate development, or other project-based companies Hands-on experience with day-to-day accounting entries, supplier/subcontractor invoices, and bank/account reconciliations Experience supporting monthly close and basic financial reporting activities Experience tracking and allocating project-related costs Experience supporting VAT-related work, including preparation and reconciliation Good proficiency with Microsoft Excel and any ERP/accounting system (such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, or QuickBooks) Strong attention to detail and accuracy with invoices, documents, and accounting records Ability to coordinate effectively with procurement, project teams, suppliers, and finance team Business/professional English proficiency for daily use with invoices, contracts, supplier documents, ERP entries, accounting reports, and email communication Able and willing to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Applicants must include current salary and expected salary in their application Preferred Qualifications: Accounting experience specifically in contracting, construction, or real estate development Experience using Odoo for accounting/ERP workflows SOCPA registration or membership Notice period of 30 days or less
