Job description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise the construction activities related to steel structural projects.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
- Prepare regular progress reports and communicate effectively with the project stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, particularly in steel structural projects.
- Professional engineer (P.Eng) designation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
