Job Title: Hot Tapping Engineer We are seeking a highly experienced and technically competent professional with a minimum of 12+ years of proven experience in hot tapping and line stopping projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, advanced technical expertise, and in-depth knowledge of industry standards to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. Key Responsibilities Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Conduct site assessments, surveys, and client meetings to evaluate feasibility and propose optimal solutions Serve as the technical focal point for clients throughout the project lifecycle Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing expert technical guidance and solutions Support commercial teams in RFQs/RFIs, proposal preparation, and technical presentations Lead execution of hot tapping and line stopping projects, including inspection, assembly, testing, and fabrication Handle operations across various pipe sizes, materials, pressures, temperatures, and services (Steam, Hydrocarbons, Crude Oil, Gas, H2S, Water, etc.) Interpret and execute drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications Prepare technical documentation such as Method Statements, ITPs, JSA/RA, and procedures Perform risk assessments and safety analyses to ensure compliance and safe execution Ensure availability and readiness of manpower, equipment, and materials for mobilization Provide technical training and competency assessments for internal teams and client personnel Lead troubleshooting and resolve technical and operational challenges on-site Collaborate with engineering teams for design calculations and equipment specifications Support cost estimation, budgeting, and techno-commercial discussions Monitor project progress, control costs, and ensure timely delivery within scope Maintain proper documentation, reports, and certifications Lead and supervise field teams to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Requirements Minimum 12+ years of experience in hot tapping and line stopping services Strong knowledge of API & ASME codes (API 2201, API 1104, ASME B31.1, B31.3, etc.) Familiarity with SABIC and ARAMCO standards Expertise in in-service welding (WPS, PQR) and pipeline integrity Strong understanding of materials, metallurgy, and pipeline systems Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and client-facing abilities Preferred Skills Experience in handling complex and high-risk operations Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
