petrochemical production company is looking for Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor.
Responsibilities & Functions
• Manage warehouse and logistics operations at a combined warehouse and production facility in Dammam (2nd Industrial City).
• Handle inventory including:
• Chemicals (raw materials, semi-finished, finished goods) – approx. 20 SKUs
• Equipment and spare parts – approx. 100 SKUs
• Organize and maintain efficient daily warehouse operations, including goods receipt, storage, and issuance with full batch traceability (production, suppliers, customers).
• Ensure full compliance with HSE/EHS standards in all warehouse activities.
• Perform hands-on warehouse tasks as required (loading/unloading, material handling).
• Analyze warehouse operations in terms of time and cost efficiency; identify and implement improvements.
• Develop and optimize warehouse processes and systems to increase operational efficiency.
• Train, supervise, and assess warehouse operators.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in Excel (receipts, issues, stock levels by SKU and batch).
• Ensure proper inventory control and documentation, including:
• Control of inbound and outbound movements
• Preparation and maintenance of GR/GI documentation
• Monthly stock counts and reconciliation with accounting
• Cycle counting and annual stock-taking
• Shelf-life and batch control procedures
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
• Manage waste handling and disposal in line with regulations.
• Manage off-spec / non-conforming materials and their utilization or disposal.
• Handle and resolve warehouse-related customer complaints.
• Prepare and report warehouse KPIs.
Goals & Key Tasks:
• Maintain accurate batch-controlled inventory tracking in Excel until ERP implementation (planned Q1 2027).
• Define and optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and handling processes (routing, storage, loading/unloading).
• Ensure FEFO principles, inventory accuracy, and safe handling of materials at all times.
• Provide timely and accurate warehouse data to Supply & Inventory Planning and Accounting.
• English and Arabic – upper-intermediate level or higher
• Secondary education required; degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience in manufacturing environments (chemicals, oil & gas, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with forklift operations, racking systems, location-based storage, and batch-controlled inventory
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and processes
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse documentation, and material accounting practices
• Understanding of proper handling, storage, and issuance of materials
• Knowledge of HSE requirements, industrial safety, and fire protection standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
