Batterjee Medical College is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician Anatomy Lab to support practical teaching activities within the General Medicine Program. The role focuses on preparing laboratory sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for students.
Laboratory Teaching Support
Prepare and set up anatomy lab sessions (models, specimens, tools, and materials)
Assist faculty during practical sessions and demonstrations
Support students in understanding anatomical structures and lab techniques
Ensure proper handling and care of anatomical models and lab resources
Equipment & Lab Management
Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment
Monitor lab inventory, consumables, and supplies
Ensure readiness of lab materials for classes and assessments
Maintain accurate records of equipment and inventory
Safety & Compliance
Enforce laboratory safety protocols and infection control measures
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials
Conduct routine inspections to identify risks and maintain compliance with standards
Administrative & Coordination
Maintain documentation (attendance, inventory, maintenance logs)
Coordinate with faculty and academic departments for lab scheduling
Preferred candidate profile
Must have Experience as Anatomy Lab Technician.
Bachelors degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Anatomy, Biomedical Sciences, or related field
Experience working in anatomy labs, medical labs, or academic environments preferred
Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures
Familiarity with anatomical models and lab teaching support
Good communication skills in Arabic and English
