Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Installation Supervision:Organize and supervise onsite electrical activities like Installation, Testing & Commissioning of electrical components including power distribution, control panels, wirings etc. for Vanderlande material handling projects in line with the project schedule and following the agreed sequence.Contribute to creating electrical installation schedule, Review electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and electrical codes.
Controls Activities:
Install PLC/HMI s. Download OT Software s for all controllers and validate correct function of safety & control cabinets.Execute & support Pre-commissioning activities like I/O Checks, Interface test with SCADA, Field Wiring Test after power On, Mechanical Running Test (MRT).Execute or Support commissioning activities (Functionality, capacity, requirements).Execute minor changes in OT Program & perform controls troubleshooting.Support Integration, Site testing, as-built documentation, perform snagging and rectification.
Guidance:
Delegate responsibilities and provide clear instructions to the onsite installation team of electrical technicians/subcontractors, ensuring that all installation work complies with quality standards and strictly adheres to Vanderlande processes.

Conduct feasibility surveys for installation areas. Check readiness & facilities required for installation as a part of preparation for Startup Installation.
Quality Control:
Leading by example, maintain a strong onsite presence through regular site walks and a thorough quality checks in alignment with Vanderlande standards.

Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in executing material handling projects in controls commissioning and (or) electrical site supervision for installations.
- Has knowledge of electromechanical components, cabinets, and field wirings.
- Ability to comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, layouts, and effectively interpret project and logistics schedules.
- Ability to understand & modify LLC code in relevant platforms (Siemens S7 Series)
- Knowledge of diverse types of Switch gears, Drives & Experience of I/O testing.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electromechanical issues and taking proactive measures to resolve them.
- Experience in executing / supporting LLC (Low Level Control) commissioning for I/O tests and Mechanical Run Tests, including cabinet functionality.
- Possess conceptual knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens), different type of hardware s,
- Communication protocols (Profinet, Ethernet, Profibus, ASI).
- Hand on experience with AutoCAD, Navis and E. Plan drawing would be advantageous.
