The Role As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other masonry materials. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality workmanship.
As a member of the Engineering department, this role is responsible for ensuring that all engineering and maintenance activities of the hotel are conducted to the highest professional standards at all times, with guest comfort and safety being the highest priority.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Mason, you will need to:
Construction & Installation Lay bricks, blocks, and stones to construct walls, pathways, and other structures. Mix and apply mortar, cement, and other bonding materials. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Ensure alignment, level, and structural integrity of masonry work. Carry out plastering, rendering, and finishing of surfaces. Repair & Maintenance Inspect masonry structures for cracks, damage, or wear. Repair or replace damaged bricks, concrete, or stonework. Perform patching, resurfacing, and restoration work as required. Support renovation and refurbishment projects across the property. Tools & Safety Compliance Use hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE. Ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment at all times. Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other trades to complete projects. Provide material estimates and support planning of masonry works. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Ensure minimal disruption to guests and operations while performing tasks. General Responsibilities (aligned with Mechanical Technician style) Ensure guest safety and promptly address maintenance concerns. Follow the preventive maintenance schedule. Maintain cleanliness of work areas after task completion. Participate in energy conservation and sustainability initiatives. Perform any additional duties required for smooth operations.
