Purpose Of Job The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the asset is maintained inline with the company standards. supports the Rig Manager(s) and maintenancepersonnel to ensure all routines and inspections are completed. He ensures all changesto the asset or Rig are controlled and the associated records are updated
Responsibility:
All equipment and systems on board. Vessel structure and integrity. Compliance with Class and Company requirements for repairs and upkeep for all associated records. Any contracted third parties for maintenance activities or projects To maintain a preventative maintenance programmed in accordance with Company policy. To ensure that modify actions or changes to the unit are recorded in line with company standards. To ensure maintenance routines are requested to be updated and modify were necessary. To ensure all maintenance activities are planned and scheduled with the operations management to ensure timely completion. To ensure all maintenance related failures are investigated in line with company standards. To ensure rig spares are systematically reviewed and stocks critically managed Financially as well as operationally. To ensure any purchase order for specialists are raised prior to the visit and commercially managed.conduct visits as necessary.provide specialist technical support to the unit as required.ensure any third-party contractors utilized for overhauls adhere to set standards and the terms of purchase orders.develop yearly rig budgets and 5-year asset plans.ensure maintenance budgets are tracked so that costs are visible to the rig management and rig maintenance teams. document and identify any rig improvement and / or best practices and ensure these are disseminated via the corporate maintenance function. To ensure all maintenance staff under their area of responsibility are trained and competent for their position. To ensure any staff are recruited or transferred in line with company procedures To participate in the regional on call Rota as required
Educational Background: Bachelor's in engineering
Experience:10 + years of experience in the Drilling Maintenance, 5 years in Superintendent Position
