Job Details

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Review and monitor contractors’ submitted baseline programs, revised schedules, and recovery plans. Check and verify project schedules for compliance with contractual requirements and project objectives. Review developers’ reports and construction progress reports. Prepare periodic planning, scheduling, and management reports. Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or deviations. Analyze schedule variances and support in recommending corrective and recovery actions. Assist in delay analysis and the preparation/review of extension of time (EOT) assessments. Support the normalization and standardization of project schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS). Review and advise on the weighting of activities in line with the approved WBS and project milestones. Participate in project review meetings and provide planning input on project progress, issues, and performance. Prepare and maintain Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 schedules as required. Develop and monitor look-ahead schedules (two-week / four-week) in coordination with site teams. Coordinate with project controls, cost, commercial, and engineering teams to ensure schedule alignment with budget and project deliverables. Assist in the development and maintenance of earned value reporting, including:Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS) Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP) Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP) Support the integration of schedule and cost data for effective project controls and reporting. Prepare dashboards and progress measurement reports for management and client review. Identify potential project risks related to schedule performance and support mitigation planning. Assist in the implementation and effective use of project control systems, software, and digital tools. Ensure planning and scheduling data is accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner. Interface with commercial, engineering, and site teams to coordinate project development, implementation, and control. Ensure compliance with Hill International’s Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies, manuals, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.


Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Administration or equivalent. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling for major construction or infrastructure projects. Proven experience in schedule development, monitoring, progress reporting, and delay analysis. Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is essential. Good knowledge of project control principles, including CPM, resource loading, progress measurement, and cost/schedule integration. Experience in preparing project schedules, look-ahead programs, and management reports. Knowledge of EOT claims and delay analysis is an advantage. PMP, PMI-SP, or similar certification is considered an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
