Roles & Responsibilities
Planning and Strategy
- Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures
- Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner
Budget Management
- Develop budget requirements ensuring alignment to plans and needs
Environmental Services
- Keep abreast of latest trends in environmental services across other national and international healthcare networks, and integrate improvement opportunities within Dallah practices
- Align with Facility Planning and Standards (HO) on environmental services standards, guidelines, and SLAs
- Identify facility needs pertaining to environmental services (i.e., housekeeping, laundry, and waste management) based on received input, historical data, best practices, etc.
- Define environmental services annual plan including needed resources and schedules, and ensure alignment with facility needs and pre-set SLAs
- Oversee shifts schedules to ensure hygienic environment and patient satisfaction during peak and non-peak hours
- Review and consolidate housekeeping performance reports highlighting key findings and areas of improvement
People Management
- Optimize resources and ensure team is efficient and provide recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to employee performance management, and provide formal and informal feedback to support professional development and maximize performance
Desired Candidate Profile
Knowledge and Experience : 10+ years of relevant experience is required with 5+ years in a managerial role is preferred
Education and Certifications:
- A Bachelor in Medicine, Biology, or related field is required
- A Master in Medicine, Biology, or related field is preferred
- An MBA is preferred
