Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive field and laboratory research, meticulously collecting and analyzing insect specimens to understand their behavior, ecology, and impact.
  • Identify and classify insect species using taxonomic keys and advanced techniques, ensuring accurate and up-to-date classifications.
  • Design and execute experiments to study insect physiology, genetics, and interactions with their environment, contributing to cutting-edge scientific knowledge.
  • Develop and implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, providing sustainable solutions for controlling insect populations in agricultural settings.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Biological Sciences (Entomology preferred)

  • Knowledge of insect taxonomy, ecology, and pest control methods
