Key Roles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor aviation safety and environmental policies in accordance with regulatory standards and international best practices. Ensure compliance with environmental programs, including waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation. Oversee the safe operation of airside vehicles and the handling and transportation of hazardous materials. Respond to hazardous material incidents and coordinate emergency containment and cleanup activities. Conduct regular safety inspections, emergency drills, evacuations, and incident investigations. Prepare incident reports and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities. Maintain accurate safety and environmental documentation and records. Coordinate with regulatory bodies and emergency response teams during inspections and emergencies. Supervise, train, and develop staff by setting objectives, identifying training needs, and monitoring performance. Ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures and prepare progress reports as required.
