Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team for multiple projects coming in the next several months. The successful candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld components in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to precise specifications using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding processes. Prepare joints, fit parts, and perform finishing operations to meet project tolerances and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols; select appropriate welding procedures and filler materials. Perform hardfacing applications for mining and crushing equipment to extend component life and improve performance. Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy and surface quality; document welds and report any non-conformances. Operate basic fabrication equipment and support inventory management of materials and consumables. Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a fabricator/welder with proficiency across steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Strong MIG, TIG, and ARC welding skills; successful hardfacing experience for mining/crushing equipment is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols; strong measurement and fit-up skills. Knowledge of welding codes and standards relevant to fabrication and maintenance projects. Good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Reliable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with portable machining and basic fabrication equipment operation. Previous work in mining or heavy equipment maintenance environments.
