Job description
The Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer will assume a pivotal role in our Organisation as he will act as the focal point for or technical matters during Bidding Stage as well after Award and during actual execution.
The successful candidate will support the Cost Estimation team by studying and interpreting the technical Tender Documents (Specification, Drawings, etc). He will also help identify applicable standards and codes and to prepare the corresponding Technical Proposal
Once a Contract is awarded, then he will be responsible for Liaising with the Procurement team to evaluate suppliers offers technically, prepare Shop Drawings, Verify/Conduct Calculations (Pipe Sizing, Duct Sizing, Head Calculation, Equipment Selection, etc) and support the Operation in resolving and Technical problems they might encounter.
And to close the life Cycle of the Project, he will have to support in the Testing and Commissioning as well as preparing all Handing Over Reports and Procedures
Skills
The successful Candidate must a University Graduate with Mechanical Engineering Degree having at least 10 years of experience in similar role with at least 4 to 6 years in the GCC (preferably in Saudi).
Mastery of related Software and Electronic Tools (Autocad BIM, HAP, Elite, etc) is a must.
Strong Technical exposure to Industrial and/or High End Institutional Projects (Experience with ARAMCO Projects will be an advantage)
Excellent knowledge of all Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Wet Utilities, etc) is expected.
