A Day in the Life
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. Internship Details
Start date: April 2026
Location: Based in Tabouk (but could cover Yanbu and Madinah if needed)
Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend for another 6 months)
Working hours: 40 hours/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
Work model: Hybrid (onsite in the field & remote)
Responsibilities
Provide support and education to doctors, nurses, and patients on diabetes management and Medtronic products, addressing their questions and needs.
Participate in patient onboarding sessions and educational campaigns to improve diabetes awareness and care.
Manage consignment inventory in hospitals and ensure timely replenishment of used items.
Assist the logistics team during deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
Travel within the local region to extend education and support efforts.
Skills
Required Knowledge and Skills
Recently graduated in biomedical engineering, healthcare, nutrition, health education, or a related field.
Fluent in Arabic and at least intermediate level of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint).
Excellent organizational abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
Eager to learn, develop, and grow professionally.
Would be a plus
Experience working with patients.
Interest in diabetes. Additional training or certifications in diabetes care are a strong plus.
Driving license.
