Role Overview The Finance & Planning Manager will lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management functions at group level, supporting the CFO and senior leadership with financial insights and strategic analysis. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, financial modelling capability, and ability to partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and capital efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Budgeting Lead the annual budgeting process across group entities. Develop rolling forecasts and long-term financial plans. Ensure alignment between business strategy and financial targets. Performance Analysis Conduct monthly variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast). Identify key drivers impacting profitability and operational performance. Provide actionable recommendations to management. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual management reports. Support group consolidation and performance analysis. Ensure high-quality financial insights for executive decision-making. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts. Support treasury planning and working capital optimization. Financial Modelling & Strategic Analysis Build financial models for investment evaluation, projects, and strategic initiatives. Support management in capital allocation and investment decisions. Loan & Financing Management Monitor loan facilities, debt schedules, and covenant compliance. Support the CFO in managing relationships with banks and financial institutions. Board & Executive Reporting Prepare board-level financial presentations and dashboards. Provide clear financial insights and performance updates to senior management. ERP & Financial Systems Utilize ERP systems and financial tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. Support automation and enhancement of financial analytics capabilities.
