Position Overview
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing and developing sales operations for the company’s products across the Riyadh and Eastern Province regions. This role plays a critical part in expanding market presence, increasing sales volume, strengthening customer relationships, and building a high-performing sales team. The Sales Supervisor ensures sales targets are met through strategic planning, market development, and close coordination with management and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Management & Market Expansion
- Supervise and oversee all sales activities in Riyadh and the Eastern Province.
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Expand market reach by introducing products to new segments, including:
- restaurants, catering companies, supermarkets, wholesale and retail shops, and private label clients.
- Enhance performance and efficiency of existing sales channels and points of sale.
2. Sales Team Leadership & Development
- Build, recruit, and develop a skilled sales team across both regions.
- Supervise sales representatives and coordinate closely with management regarding staffing needs.
- Train the team on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement.
- Set and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure team performance meets targets.
- Provide field leadership and motivate the team to achieve high performance.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain an updated and organized customer database for both regions.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key strategic clients.
- Ensure continuous communication with existing clients to support recurring orders.
- Reactivate inactive clients by identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
4. Coordination with Factory & Internal Departments
- Coordinate with factory management regarding order processing, supply schedules, and product availability.
- Follow up on order execution until delivery is completed.
- Ensure client requirements (packaging, weights, specifications) are met accurately.
- Collaborate with finance to monitor receivables and customer account status.
5. Cash Van Sales Management
- Manage and develop the cash van sales model targeting small retail outlets (grocery stores).
- Collaborate with independent representatives or sub-distributors to expand cash van operations.
6. Reporting & Business Analysis
- Prepare periodic reports covering sales volume, team performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Analyze sales data to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Recommend pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and market opportunities.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in sales or food product marketing.
- Proven track record in the Riyadh and Eastern Province markets.
- Strong existing relationships with restaurants, catering firms, supermarkets, and distributors.
- Knowledge of the spices, legumes, or broader food market is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications and reporting tools.
