About the location:
Soon to be one of the region’s foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan being informed by an impressive marine spatial planning simulation to model the environmental impact of development and operations to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will also rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The property will also feature six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, Kids for All Seasons space and much more. About the RoleThe Security & Safety Supervisor plays a vital operational role in supporting the resort’s overall safety and security framework. This position ensures the protection of guests, employees, and property while upholding the discreet, polished, and guest‑centric environment expected in a luxury 5‑star resort. The Supervisor is responsible for the smooth execution of daily security operations, proactive risk management, and consistent adherence to safety procedures, incident protocols, and regulatory requirements. Strong operational awareness, leadership ability, and a service‑minded approach are essential to success in this role.
Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight- Supervise day‑to‑day security and safety operations, ensuring full compliance with resort policies, emergency procedures, and applicable laws.
- Review and validate incident reports to ensure accurate documentation and timely follow‑up action.
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external stakeholders to address immediate security concerns and operational issues.
- Oversee the proper issuance, handling, and accountability of all security equipment, including radios, keys, buggies, flashlights, and related assets; report any irregularities or damages.
- Conduct shift briefings, assign personnel to posts, and ensure thorough handovers between shifts.
- Ensure all incident reports and activity logs are completed accurately and submitted within required timelines.
- Verify proper documentation and registration of equipment issuance and incident entries in all relevant logs and digital systems.
- Review the Activities Register and arrange appropriate security support for scheduled events and guest activities.
Incident & Risk Management- Lead and supervise investigations of all security‑related incidents, ensuring proper documentation, analysis, and corrective action.
- Liaise with external authorities and government agencies as required.
- Prepare comprehensive operational summaries and reports for management regarding incidents, trends, and follow‑up outcomes.
- Take command of emergency situations until relieved by senior management or designated authorities.
- Ensure consistent enforcement of operational procedures and compliance with company policies across all areas of the resort.
Team Leadership- Supervise Security Officers through routine patrols and performance checks, ensuring alertness, professionalism, and proper coverage of assigned posts.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their operational performance and guest‑service approach.
- Conduct on‑the‑job training for new or junior personnel and ensure accurate maintenance of training records.
- Maintain and encourage a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability within the department.
Collaboration & Communication- Collaborate closely with the Surveillance Department on all matters relating to guest, employee, and property safety.
- Immediately notify the Security & Safety Manager or Director of Loss Prevention of serious incidents and seek guidance where needed.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to support smooth coordination during daily operations and emergencies.
Health, Safety & Compliance- Maintain strong awareness of safety procedures, guest wellbeing, and protection of company assets.
- Stay fully knowledgeable of all resort emergency and contingency plans, including fire, evacuation, weather emergencies, medical incidents, and security threats.
- Ensure that safety hazards, malfunctions, and maintenance concerns are reported and resolved promptly.
- Enforce resort rules, regulatory requirements, and the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information and security‑related matters.
Standard Duties- Attend all required training sessions, departmental briefings, and management‑led meetings.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Security & Safety Manager or senior management.
Knowledge & Skills Required- In line with Saudization requirements, this opportunity is available to Saudi Nationals only.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably within a luxury 5‑star hotel or resort environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Certified training in security operations, emergency response, fire safety, and first aid.
- Strong capability in incident management, emergency planning, and risk assessment.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CCTV, alarm systems, and access‑control technologies.
- Professional appearance with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
