Taj HR is seeking a dynamic and strategic Trade Marketing Supervisor .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive product adoption, and support sales initiatives across various channels.
The Trade Marketing SVP is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of FMCG products from a comprehensive commercial perspective.
This role ensures full product availability across all sales channels, oversees execution in the market, and develops strategic trade marketing plans to drive sales growth, distribution expansion, and brand visibility.
The position requires strong expertise in both Sales and Marketing within the FMCG sector, with a deep understanding of distribution networks, retail dynamics, and in-market execution.
Key Responsibilities1.
Product & Portfolio Management Take full ownership of assigned product categories.
Ensure continuous product availability across all retail and distribution channels.
Monitor product performance, sales trends, and market share.
Coordinate closely with supply chain and distribution teams to prevent stock shortages.
2. Sales Coordination & Field Execution Follow up with sales teams to ensure proper product placement and visibility in all outlets.
Track distribution coverage and ensure execution of trade activities in the field.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor compliance and identify growth opportunities.
Set clear KPIs for sales teams related to distribution, visibility, and promotional execution.
3. Trade Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and implement annual and quarterly trade marketing plans.
Design promotional campaigns and in-store activation plans to increase sell-out.
Manage trade budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
Analyze campaign performance and optimize future initiatives accordingly.
4. Distribution & Channel Development Expand distribution networks and strengthen relationships with key accounts.
Optimize channel strategies (modern trade, traditional trade, wholesale, etc.
). Ensure proper merchandising standards across all points of sale.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance departments.
Lead trade marketing and sales support teams.
Provide strategic recommendations based on market insights and competitor analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade marketing or related roles.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful trade marketing campaigns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
Understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Good command English Language.
