Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on light vehicles including pickups, SUVs, and light transport vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic electronic faults. Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and breakdown repairs in workshop and site environments. Ensure strict compliance with LOTO procedures, MBCC standards, and workshop safety rules. Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and inspection checklists. Identify and report defects, safety concerns, and repeated failures to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and order of tools, equipment, and work areas. Support fleet availability and reliability through proactive maintenance practices. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification Requirements:Technical Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent Working knowledge of engines, braking systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems. Ability to follow LOTO procedures and workshop safety requirements.
Experience and Skills Requirements:Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in maintenance of light vehicles. Practical experience in light vehicle maintenance and diagnostics. Ability to interpret service manuals and technical documentation. Strong safety awareness and compliance with site rules. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work in workshop and site conditions.
