Job Purpose







The Healthcare Administration Manager will oversee the operations of the Family & Child Support Center (FCSC) at KAUST Health. This includes ensuring compliance with all KAUST and governmental regulations and supporting the Senior Operations Manager as needed. The manager will also handle patient experience functions under KAUST Health, facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, and manage the referral process with other healthcare facilities. 



In addition to having a caseload, and supervising the design, development, and implementation of assessments, programs, and events being offered in the Center, the manager will also collaborate with FCSC stakeholders to design a service delivery plan for the FCSC.  This plan will involve recruiting, supporting, and mentoring staff working at the center, to ensure the highest possible standards of care.  










Major Accountabilities







Operation Oversight 




  • Develop and implement a service delivery plan, outlining the range of support services the FCSC will provide in the future. This plan will be written in collaboration with all key FCSC stakeholders. 

  • Ensure the FCSC is run according to KAUST Health and Ministry of Health regulations, overseeing licensing and acting as the point of contact for governmental inspections. 

  • Develop and manage the center's budget, allocating resources effectively to support program sustainability and growth. 

  • In collaboration with the KAUST Health Management Team, the manager will identify and implement critical success indicators for FCSC services and will continuously evaluate and regularly report progress towards meeting strategic goals. 

  • Manage service delivery concerns and complaints in a timely manner and support staff in responding when conflicts arise or when client’s expectations are not met. 

Collaboration and Communication 




  • Collaborate with community stakeholders (KAUST School, KAUST Daycare, health services, parents, and others) to understand neurodiversity in the KAUST community and the clinical needs to develop and deliver plans to address immediate and future needs. 

  • Implement a Communications Plan for the FCSC and works closely with C&C Comms team to design and develop posters, newsletters, and emails sent on behalf of the FCSC to clients and partners in KAUST and beyond. 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the FCSC and all relevant KAUST departments, external healthcare partners, and specialized centers for special needs, fostering collaboration.


Patient Experience & Referral Management 




  • Oversee patient experience initiatives across KAUST Health and the FCSC. Act as the point of contact for referral management between KAUST Health and other healthcare facilities. Develop and implement a system for managing both emergency and outpatient referrals smoothly and efficiently. 

Strategic Development 




  • Lead initiatives for both the FCSC and KAUST Health, introducing innovative solutions for special needs care and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. 

Governmental & Regulatory Compliance 




  • Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and other governmental requirements, acting as the contact for licensing and inspections

Qualifications








  • Essential: Minimum Bachelor Degree of Healthcare Administration, or Healthcare specialty.

  • Preferred: Master’s degree in healthcare administration, MBA.






Experience








  • 6+ years of relevant experience in the Healthcare Administration field. 

  • Track record of engaging and developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
