Job Summary The Mechanical Piping & Welding Inspector is responsible for carrying out inspection and quality surveillance activities related to piping and welding works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, international codes, and quality management system requirements. The role supports safe and compliant execution of mechanical works across project sites.

Roles & Responsibilities Perform inspection and surveillance of piping and welding activities as per approved ITPsEnsure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and project specifications Inspect welding fit-up, welding processes, consumables, and welder qualifications Witness and verify NDT activities including MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFIVerify material compliance, traceability, and documentation Review inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective actions Coordinate with contractors, QA/QC teams, and client representatives Ensure effective implementation of quality system requirements at site
Mandatory Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering in the relevant discipline with minimum 4 years of inspection experience Two (2) years Industrial / Technical Diploma with minimum 8 years of relevant inspection experience Strong knowledge of international codes and standards including:- ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8-ASME Section V & IX-API 510, API 570, API 620, API 650-AWS D1.1Proven experience in piping and welding inspection Valid international Welding Inspector certification (AWS or CSWIP) Good awareness and working knowledge of Quality Management Systems Adequate knowledge of NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, VT, RTFI) If applicable, valid ARAMCO CBT with SAP number and CBT details
