About the Job


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Butlers Manager to join Jumeirah The Red Sea.


The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:


  • Responsible for assisting Butlers Manager in overseeing and engaging in day-to-day operation of the department thus ensuring all service standards and deliverables are met in line with standard protocols and they are followed in courteous yet professional manner aiming to provide delightful services to all guests


  • Recognizes all repeat and important guests and builds rapport to develop personal guest contact, obtain preferences and proactively anticipate guest needs and requirements


  • Maintains open line of communication and ensures guest complaints and feedback are handled effectively and efficiently by supervising team leaders/butlers, delegating responsibilities, and liaising with other related departments. Keep Butlers manager informed on key decisions and escalations


  • Leads, motivates & continuously develops the Butler Team to maximize colleague productivity, departmental revenue, guest satisfaction & department COS scores


  • Conducts regular quality checks on the floor receptions and butlers’ pantries to ensure standards & consistency are always maintained to the highest level. Report inconsistencies and suggest measures and action plan to Butler’s manager to improve standards


  • Responsible to maintain the Annual Vacation Plan, Weekly Duty Rosters, and special staffing requirements and assist Butler’s Manager as and when required


About You


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • Hold a Higher Secondary School certificateList the basic (minimum) education, certification, and/or licensing needed to be successful in the position.


  • Have 3-5 years of experience as Shift Leader in Butler or Guest Services in a 5-star environment. 


  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or any other relevant field (Desirable).


  • Demonstrate proficiency in handling Opera system & HotSOS.


  • Show Leadership and attention to details skills.


  • Possess the ability to manage and maintain relationships with guests.
